Coffee with employees – Ana Vodopivec Tušar

Now, let’s take a look at some highlights of my chat with Ana Vodopivec Tušar. She isn’t working at OSAP for very long, about a month, well now 2 months, to be exact. She was born in Ljubljana, near Rožnik and she think of the trees there with such delight and with a softer voice, and now she drives to work from Logatec. We aren’t drinking coffee today, but tea – it is healthier, so they say at least.

She forged here career path, as much as she walked on, rather typical: primary school, secondary school, university, family, work. The last 2, 3 things usually simultaneously. Her husband also works in IT, and the puzzle begins to lay itself again: he heard it from an acquaintance of an acquaintance and so on, and now she is here in OSAP. The years she spend studying information and management sciences I cut out. Almost everything. She is happy with her life, relaxed, now selling to key clients, before this, a vast array of different things: international financing, export, children and sports, the Russian market and… She tells me this with little pauses, searching for more accurate, clear words to describe what she wanted to say. And then she turns into another direction, skipping words and trickling. “Life is beautiful, the colleagues are friendly, nice to work here really, the co-workers are keen, the information is interesting, and everything has to do with them also, beginning with people, to be.” Rowing on oar boats, surfing when she was younger, cross-country skiing, cycling, yes, doing Franja marathon, more mountains than hills, at least 2000, this is her life. “When I was a little girl, if I couldn’t climb on via-feratas, then I didn’t want to go at all”. Montblanc – a big mountain and a even bigger wish of hers. In her free time she is active with the kids, does cross-country skiing with them, they are 6 and 9 years old. In her holidays she goes to the sea, everything else is reserved for the weekends. Television and social networks she rarely uses, with a grain of salt. She watches movies, reads expertise books, everything she needs to do. Now the windows and doors have all opened to her inner place. A word of education, studies, learning at the end…

There is no tea left to drink, just a visible edge on my cup. Ana says she would rather talk more about the work she does in OSAP. Her wish is enough, a genuine one.
